Medicare Part D (Voluntary Prescription Drug Benefit Program)

• Anyone entitled to or enrolled in Medicare Part A, Part B, or both may enroll in Part D.
• The person must enroll in his or her area.
• Beneficiaries must enroll with a participating approved Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Provider (PDP) or a Medicare Part C plan that offers prescription drug coverage (MA-PD) under Part C of Medicare.
